Yes the Borchardt military rifles are neat. Not much fun when there are no musket matches to shoot them in and we can't shoot them in silhouette matches. Right from the start the Borchardt was unloved.  Cry

I go to many BPCR military rifle matches throughout the year and they are allowed!  We have a blast with iron sights.
In our big bore lever action matches I use my 1886 Winchester and have hit the 1100 yard buffalo a number of times!
I plan on equaling that as well with the Borchardt!  Fun times!
