Here is the timed auction that ended today.

Thanks. I couldn't find the closing prices on their website yesterday for the life of me.

Most of the things I was interested in went for more than the upper estimate  Shocked, with a few within the predicted range and only a couple under the estimate.
My money was pretty safe . . . . . .

The auction estimates were pretty conservative, but even with items going over the estimates there were some great bargains. I think most auction companies estimate too low to encourage bidding. Then people feel they have a chance at a bargain vs. not even bidding if estimates are too high. I paid far more than the auction estimate for the "unmarked scope" knowing it was a FH Souther, but still got what I think is a real bargain. And I saw firearms that went well above estimates, but still below their values.

By the time I pay all shipping and transfer costs I figure I will have $1100 invested in the high wall I won. It went for over the estimate, but I would happily pay $1100 for a HW with an ‘excellent’ bore, decent action and useable wood.  Now I will just have to hope it is as advertised.  That said the base price of $900 was my maximum.

My biggest gripe about Amoskeag is the lack of photos.  Wards auctions in Oregon typically has multiple pictures of very good quality.  I hope the description is accurate.

I got my invoice today and evidently, I also won 3 high wall forends.  The bottom one would look great on a rat rifle.

I am new to the vintage rifle auction scene,I took a chance on a schuetzen low wall with Eric Johnson barrel for 1800.00 I hope the barrel is as good as they described . I was considering having a CPA built before the auction came up.

I have had issues with a couple of the auction rifles that I won.  The first was an accurately described chambering issue that   ended up needing some custom chamber reaming to fix. For some reason the guy who fixed it decided that it had a place in his collection.  The second was a bore that was less than the ‘good’ as described and wouldn’t cock.  I am still fighting the sear spring in that Ballard.  Both were at a price that I could get my money back on if necessary.  I think I am done with auctions for now. I have plenty of rifles to play with and some gunsmithing projects to do.
Good luck on your acquisition.

So far I've not gotten any emails they said were going to come for invoices, or shipping info. I'm sure they have my info as once I go to Amoskeag's site and paid the invoice I found there they sent an email to confirm. But they didn't send the invoice to begin with, and not sure if they'll send tracking number either? Probably have to go login and get it myself.

I also received my invoice on Wednesday via email. I’ve sent them my FFL info and paid the invoice, hopefully they will ship the rifle soon.

I just reread the emails from them, one says that they ship in order of payment received, and in another email it says that they will email with tracking information when the item ships. I imagine that with a large auction with a large amount of items to package and ship, that it could take them awhile.

I can imagine that they begin packaging up the rifles once the photos have been taken.  There is quite a bit of 'dead' time once the catalog/web code is done and the auction ends.
No proof that they do that, but if it were me, that would be my plan.
