Congratulations to me.  I just won one of Andy's project high walls.

Not sure what the caliber is, but I guess I will find out.

The barrel markings on my HW say .32 1.6. and it is marked Paul Shuttleworth.  Too long for the 32-20 CPA.  Might be a 32 Miller long or 32 RKS.  With the forend taped on it is my kind of rifle.  I might have to change the color of the tape though.

How about the 357 Maximum case necked or tapered to 32? It's 1.6.

Congratulations Jack!
I won the "unmarked scope" with leather carry case! I was nervous that someone might be a scope collector and figure out what it is, but luckily nobody did so!
It's a very rare FH Souther target scope, and I'm thrilled to finally own a Souther, and even more so with it's leather case!

Oneatatime,
I think Schuetzendave said that the 32 RKS if just that.  A 357 Max case sized in a 223 die to 32 cal. I just finished sizing 50 more 357 Max cases to 30 cal for my 30 Wesson Ballard.  If all else fails and the bore/twist is what I hope, I can run my 32-40 reamer in it as a last resort.

Did anyone notice almost every Trapdoor (and some other firearms!) in this auction closed for the same final price of $763.75? How does that happen? Something smells here.
And a quick look shows a bunch of other guns closing at that same price too! Another popular price was $646.25 that many closed at?

A winning bid of $650 plus the buyers premium of 17.5% = $763.75

Yes, I know how it gets to the final price, but why would so many firearms all sell for $650. Especially many being Trapdoors? You'd think one might sell for $600, and another for $650, or $700?
Gotta admit it's weird.

Bpjack, but isn't the 32 RKS reduced in length after forming from the 357 Max? It's possible that whoever ordered it said I'm going to use the Max case but why go to the trouble to shorten it. "Paul, let's just mark it 32-1.6".

Thanks. I couldn't find the closing prices on their website yesterday for the life of me.

Most of the things I was interested in went for more than the upper estimate  Shocked, with a few within the predicted range and only a couple under the estimate.
My money was pretty safe . . . . . .

Oneatatime,
Yea I realized that later after re-reading the posts about 32 RKS.  I just finished resizing all my 357 MAX brass to 30 cal. I probably should get some more in just in case.
