It's still floating around, and sorta makes people mad when you explain to the a bullet from a 2.1 case is going to have to clear at least another 1.25 in a .480 diameter freebore just to get to the rifling

Closer to .875, but I catch your drift. Smiley

The difference in case length by itself is 1.15,if the 45-70 case isn't trimmed to the 2.095 trim length. Smiley

Sorry, I was just going by the difference between 2.1" and 2-7/8".
Which, now that I review my calculation, is .775".

Trim to length on a Shiloh 110 chamber is 2.88
Not savvy enough to get a picture posted up here. But I have one that has a brand new 45-70,44-77,45-90 and 45 120 case standing side by side, the difference in visual form really tells the story.

Why is it stamped 2 7/8" if it is a 45/120?
45/120 should be stamped 3 1/4"

My WAG is that it is a 45/110 rechambered from 45/70.
Not a 45/120.

still a sketchy description IMHO.After the initial sale and relist more should be divulged.

But then again I purchased a mold off of eBay that when it arrived the blocks were cut from different cherries left and right.Bands not even close!  the seller took a return and re listed it without the information. He's an occasional seller here.

If it doesn't come with some brass, it'll be a wall hanger for awhile.
