Filing tip.

Clamped the part with a bit of Overhang and got the Screeching Demon on the first stroke.  Usually that means clamping to dampen it.  Took my Brass Punch, put it through the Link Boss hole.  No Screach!  Tried my Scriber with the same quiet result.   Cool

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I think you've shared something of that sort before about how to dampen the screech when filing. Again, thank you.
