New source of barrel liners

I don’t know anything about this company, but they claim that their liners are made in USA and button rifled.  The prices seem reasonable.  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Anyone have any experience with Chazel products?

Good quality.  At least as good as Anyone else’s liners.  Probably better.

Are they cut rifled or hammer forged?

Web site says button rifled.  Prices look way too cheap.

Doesn't say what kind of metal is used. T.J.'s is using 4130 aircraft steel and hammer forging which will harden it a bit but it is still not as tough as 4140 heat treat that most barrel companies use. I like liners for lead bullets and black powder cartridges but when the pressure gets up there and jacketed bullets are involved I like to use a new barrel just because I think it will hold up better. The stainless barrels are usually made from 416 which machines very easy and as Douglas use to say, it is less scratch resistant, don't use a stainless cleaning brush.
