Single Shot Rifle Inc.High Wall help needed

I'm pretty sure I broke the firing pin on my Single Shot Inc high wall. I need a source for a new spin as well as disassembly instructions. My book says to remove the hand guard to get to the main spring. Not on my rifle. There is a real fancy spring wrapped around the hammer, block pin etc. I'm afraid to drift out the lever pin without consulting someone familiar with the action.
Thanks, Old Soldier

I have 3 of these rifles, and have broken the firing pins on a couple of them.  I found that if you place the hammer on the safety notch before opening the action, you greatly reduce breakage.  Now to your problem.  I have never seen one of these rifles with a hand guard.  I think you are referring to the forearm, which would have to be removed to get to a leaf mainspring.  These rifles have a coil spring.  To remove the firing pin, remove the firing pin retaining screw in the top of the hammer and the pin falls out.  If C Sharps can't sell you a new one, I can tell you how I repaired mine.  wyoold

I think he meant to write that the screw is situated in the top of the breech block, not the hammer. But, he's right in saying that you needn't take the whole thing apart to replace a pin.

Wyoold is old, so he mispoke, just like a politician.  Of course, I meant the breech block. Sorry.  Wyoold

Called C Sharps. The lady who answered the phone knew what I needed, made the order, all quick and easy. No press 1 for English, no transfer to a department that doesn't answer the phone. All as I wish everybody did business. Thanks C Sharps.
