parker hale barrel

I bought a Parker Hale barrel;34" 10 groove 50 cal;roto hammered.It has a rimless extractor. My gunsmiths (I need 2)
say it an excellent quality barrel. The problem is a one in 32 twist,SLOW,both smiths liken it to a muzzle loader.Sounds reasonable,I would like to shoot BP and breech seat. My action
is a Wycliffe, a HD action,I do want to shoot it as a bench rest.
Any info ,comments  Roll Eyes Cheesy I all ways do obtuse projects.
