Stevens TIP-UP extractor

At last weeks Gun Show I bought at a very good price a re-lined Stevens Tip-UP minus the complete extractor. Would anybody have a drawing with Dims that I could use to manufacture the replacement?

Built a Stevens tip-up pistol years ago. The extractor is a lesson in geometry.
Thought I had drawings but they are gone. Would try to help with the geometry if you can't find some dimensions.

Hi Chuck

Thanks for the offer. I should of said I got a rifle. I looked in DeHass book and it looks like a I will have a project on my hands.

I hope some member might be able to come up with a sketch and figures.

This might help, stumbled across it and it seemed reasonable, but did not try it. Found what I needed.

Ron,
What caliber is the tip-up in?  The drawing Dellet showed out of GS Kinks is really close.  I had to repair one and fit it to a reline job once, as Chuck coined it - "they are a lesson in geometry".

Ron, I have 3 Tip Up's and there are 2 different types of extractor's on them.  Might want to identify the serial number of yours and post a picture of the inside of the action because they made different ones:
# 2xx, 32Long RF - De Haas picture extractor assembly with extractor pin stud hole in action
# 99xx, 16ga - De Haas picture extractor
# 28xx, 12ga - A flat spring in a channel cut in the action with a bolt hole on the end of the spring nearest to the front of action that screws into the action. The front of the spring connects to a flat metal piece in a channel in a cut in the bottom of the barrel to the face of the chamber where the extractor is

My rifle is marked .22 short-long rifle. other than  the Stevens name on the barrel and the matching serial numbers there are no makings.

The past owner started to restore the rifle but did not finish the job. The receiver, trigger guard and butt plate have been re-plated ( nickel ), the barrel was lined for .17 cal. but not chambered, the wood was refinished. I want to return the gun to .22

ron,
I answered your pm.
I'll get you some measurements and pics once I have the rifle in-hand.
And I have a small frame .22 short tip-up (if I can find it) that I can check and get measurements off of.
These things are a bit of geometric puzzle.
Dave

P.S. Looking at the drawing that John Boy posted... which parts do you need?

Dimensions:  taken from a 25-20 CF.

I don't know how to add lines/dimensions to a photo

Stud: thread is .255 x 24 is .475 long and has a slot app. ~.072 wide and a hole ~.100  dia. Threaded app. 3/4 of the length, dia. of the unthreaded section is app. same as OD of thread.

Pull Stem: .215 dia. 2 piece, each end has a flat ~.071 thick with ~.100 pin holes spaced at 1.900" didn't check the thread size for the 2 pieces, probably an odd size. (Don't know why it needs to be 2 piece.)

Extractor:
looking at the breech end it is .300 wide reduced to .188 for the ext. which is .120 thick.

As viewed from the muzzle the lug is .230 wide with a ~.072 slot and .305 high measured from the top of the long bar.

Side view...overall length is 2.275. the long bar is .086 thick. The lug is .250 wide with the pin hole at .215 from the top of the bar. The pin hole is located central to the lug.

The top of the stud, ends of pull stem and extractor lug are rounded. The extractor has a lot of file marks from fitting so your needed dimensions will vary.

Ron,
Did notlwonk's post get you fixed up?
Do you need anything else?
