Full list of Jamison Brass I still have available, except for the .25-20SS brass; that's in a separate thread.

BOOKS

For those on this forum who may not be ASSRA members plus for those who are members but may have missed it, below is my ad from the latest issue of the Journal.

Both of these books are profusely illustrated and written for all single shot rifle aficionados.

The Golden Age of the American Schuetzenfest is essentially a study of Schuetzen during its golden age (1890-1917). Over the past several years it has become THE standard reference work on Schuetzen history. It presents such topics as how the old matches were conducted, Schuetzen parks, targets they used, rifles & implements, notable shooters, accuracy of their rifles, plus much, much more.

Loading and Shooting Traditional American Schuetzen Rifles is the how-to book for those either starting Shuetzen shooting or considering getting into Schuetzen shooting. It's soup-to-nuts coverage of shooting Schuetzen rifles includes everything from defining the Schuetzen rifle, acquiring a rifle, needed equipment, bullet casting, doping the wind to techniques for both bench rest and offhand shooting.

Boys, hee is a new supplier that makes old fashoined German and Swiss rear sights for the German and Swiss target rifles. His pricing is reasonable.

Paul Huard's Patch Popper
Print Post
A few weeks ago I decided I needed on of Mr. Huard's patch poppers.  I remembered that there had been a post on the For Sale forum recently but when I went to find it, so I could get some contact info, the post had expired.

I thought it worth adding a message to this thread in case anyone goes looking for a popper in the future.

This is a handy item if you clean at the range.  I use it for both cartridge black powder rifles and muzzleloaders.  Simple to use, just load the towers with patches, one wet and one dry.  When you need a patch you pick up the lid, turn the knob, and you have one patch sticking up ready to go.  (Note: his patches are worth getting along with the popper).

Contact info: Paul Huard, 714-520-4395 or moezingo@yahoo.com

I've never really trusted Smokey the Bear.  Everytime I see him I wonder what happened to the Boy Scout that was orginally wearing that hat.

I plan to start making breech seaters soon. I need to know what shooters want and need. The seaters will be made of low carbon steel and color cased. They will be adjustable for each rifle that they are intended for and are of compound leverage design. Price will be $245.00. Please let me know wants and needs. Thank you. davidmos366@gmail.com

Order from CPA Rifles website ( (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links); They currently have all the inventory available until I make a new batch sometime spring/summmer 2025.  Thanks.  Their shipping options are cheaper anyway.

Thanks
Mike

Jamison .25-20 SS brass available for shipment
Reply #13 - Jul 6th, 2025 at 6:01pm
Print Post
Jamison .25-20 Brass available for purchase/shipment now.  Sales ONLY TO ASSRA full members (not forum members, paying ASSRA members). Limited to 100 cases per member, please.  See below for full details of why I'm limiting sales.  If you're not a member, you can join here: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Price is $3.00 per case, with a limit of 100 case sales, and no minimum quantity.  $10 shipping, with shipping waived on sales of 100 pieces.  Proof of ASSRA membership (copy of recent magazine address would be easiest) required.

Check or money order to:
Dave Plummer
1149 Church St
Baker City, OR 97814

Make sure you include a description of what you're buying with payment, I have a lot of other business items I get payment for daily, so clarity is needed.  If you want to pay electronically via paypal or zelle, message me.

I ship daily, and unless I'm traveling will ship following business day from payment.

Thanks!  And more info below on why I'm selling this way, to support ASSRA.

I have collaborated with the ASSRA board to sell this brass, using the ASSRA forum.  My objective is three fold:

1) Support the ASSRA by encouraging membership.
2) Support quarter bore use by making a dependable supply of .25-20SS brass available into the future, through my lifetime or until I run out.  I have about 15,000 pieces available total.  When that's gone, that's it.
3) Return revenue to ASSRA by paying a commission on sales.

To accomplish those objectives, my terms are:

1)  Sales will only be to ASSRA members.  Not forum members, but paying association members.
2)  I will initially only sell 100 rounds of brass per person.  This is to discourage scalping, and to ensure there's enough to go around.  In the future (say a year from now), I will consider requests for additional quantities from previous purchasers, subject to availability.
3)  I will be holding the price at market rate, again to discourage scalping.
4) I will pay a 5% percent commission to the ASSRA on the sales to help support the association financially.

If you're not a member, you can join here: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

I will ask that you send proof of membership (copy of latest journal address would be easiest) with your order.

I will be selling .25-20 loaded ammo on Gunbroker.  The difference in price compared to member brass rate will easily pay for at least one year of ASSRA membership.  If you really prefer not to join, you can buy loaded ammo there.
