Old Pete the Limey at Empire Gunsight just got this one in....so unusual, I just had to have it.  It will be here next week or so.  It is unusual in that it is a 577x450 Cavalry Carbine converted to .22lr using a barrel that has the original length and contour.....all of the furniture is retained.  Just by looking at it, it looks like a standard 577x450 carbine.....god, my wife is going to shoot me!!!!:lol

Well, I'll be danged  Cool

I saved for my first rifle at the tender age of 10 and bought a 303 version just like that for $10 fitted with a Parker 22 sleeve sweated inside the original barrel. Shot it until 19 when I traded it on a 1949 model Brno Model 1 bolt action.

That little 22 was as accurate and reliable as anything I ever owned and I never saw or heard of another 'till now.

Congratulations and I hope the bruising & swelling go down soon Grin Grin
