Numrich had some original #1 factory stocks from the run they did in the late 1990's, but last I checked I think they were sold out? I bought one deluxe set with high grade wood, CCH buttplate and forearm tip for $165. A standard set I got was $135. Both are pistol grips, but Numrich also sold pistol grip lower tangs for $45 so I did several swaps to PG lower tangs on builds.

I don't know of any other source, but I have seen a number of original stocks on Ebay over the years.

Treebone carving makes Rolling Block stocks.  They are for sale directly from them or through Rolling Block Parts.  They are “90%” inlet.  That’s as close as you’ll get unless you get lucky with an original stock.  Very little fitting required.

I sure hope the new owners do better stocks than previously were done. The last Remington stock set I got was absolutely trash! Lower tang cut 1/2" deep and upper tang inletting les than 1/8" deep! I had to glue in laminate inside the lower tang inletting to build it up, and then chisel and scrape out the upper until my tang sat below the wood!

  Any of the stocks I've bought from them were very good. Everybody makes mistakes, and CPA had a reputation of correcting them quickly, if informed of their error.
