There will be people with the exact opposite opinion, but as an original 25 RF I’m interested in it. And I know I can shoot it.

As a low wall converted to 38 special, I’m not even interested in it enough to ask condition unless the price is rock bottom knowing I can re barrel it into something interesting.

I am probably mostly a collector, but I won’t buy anything I can’t shoot. If I wanted something to shoot competitively, it probably wouldn’t be a Low Wall any way.

Since you are not interested in a low wall, what do you think "rock bottom" price to a collector might be~??

Without pictures, $500 maybe less depending on description and if it’s not a known source.
High is impossible to establish.

I would enjoy seeing it since I like the cartridge, can you pm some to me or email, text to phone?

Send me a pm for contact info.

When the auctioneer's hammer went down, I was in it for pennies under $700.  So since I'm not into losing money I'll let the collectors be hanged and have the barrel lined and convert to a usable caliber then enjoy shooting it in its original exterior finishes~!!!  I'm sure John Taylor or Bobby Hoyt can do an excellent job doe me.

Since it has a good bore, why not just rechamber to 25 hornet.  Get a 67ish grain mold that fits your bore and load it 1200-1400fps and duplicate original loading.
Cheap and easy to shoot,  preserves everything on the outside and makes it easy and practical to shoot
IMHO

Hopefully turns out more to your liking than the last one.

The last one had a lot more figure in it than this one does.  I shouldn't even talk about the first one because I haven't even shot the first one yet.  My only dismay with the first was in the twist rate of the liner which was 1:10, which seems to me to be awfully fast compared to the twist rates of 1:16 and 1:18 being used in currently produced rifles chambered in .38/.357.  My model 77/22 was built with a 1:12 twist and wouldn't shoot 55 and up gr bullets worth a hoot.  I learned that that slower twist rate required lighter bullets.  Now it's really accurate with 52 gr and 53 gr projectiles, so I guess that implies that I'll have to shoot heavy lead through the first '85..

TJ's barrel liners should have a 38/357 liner with a 1-16" twist.
