Print Post
For Sale: .40-65 Ballard Everlasting Cartridge Cases and Bullet Starter

I have these left over from an early No. 6-1/2 Rigby Ballard I sold years ago. There are 20 cartridge cases by RMC (Rocky Mountain Cartridge) and a custom made bullet seter by John Gillette, Beecher, Ill.

The cases are new and milled. They are head stamped " 40-65 EVL | RMC ". The inside diameter at the mouth is 0.4140".

The case on the bullet seater slides on the steel shaft with a brass tip. The diameter of the shaft is 0.4105".

Price: $225 (includes shipping via US Priority Mail)

First "I'll take it" posted here gets it.

Thank you,
Joe D

Interesting tool deserving of a bounce.  Is Mr Gillette still making these?

That is a very well made seater with some improvement on the Lyman Ideal No1. but always felt the limiting screw should be brass. This is a great deal if you need both. imho

Joseph,

How did I miss this? I would have jumped on it.
O well, you have enough of my money.

Your friend and client,
Don
