Cartridges for a Stevens 44 action

What readily available cartridges besides .22 short, long, and long rifle are suitable for use in a Stevens 44 action? Would the action be suitable for .22 WMR or .17 HMR?

I have Stevens 44's in .22 LR, .22-15-60, .25-20 ss, .25 acp, .32 S&W long, and .17hmr. While I haven't shot some of them much, they seem to hold up fine to those cartridges.

I have one in 44-40. There were a few made in 32-40 and 38-55 but they had a lug on the hammer to help support the breach block. I have seen several in 25-20 and 32-20

Rimfire cartridges
22, 25 and 32

Centrefire cartridges
25-20, 32-20, 32-40, 38-40, 38-55, 44-40

Special order

22 Short, 22-7-45 (.22 WRF)

.22-10-45, 22-15-60, 25-21, 25-25,

28-30-120, 32-35, 32 Ideal. The last five are all proprietary Stevens cartridges

One of these days I'll find a 22-15-60

I have the chamber reamer, just need a piece of brass for a headspace gauge.
