highwall double set sears

Hi,

Based on the pictures in Campbells book, there is very little difference between a close coupled DST sear and the standard DST sear.  Has anyone tried using the close coupled sear with standard double set triggers?

thanks,

Chris.

Chris,
I've made several CC's from scratch and a couple dbl sets the same, all of mine have worked using the same long tail sear design.  Both of these triggers use similar mouse traps features.  The cut out for the fly in the sear is needed if you are making the sear from scratch.  Just a little tidbit from experience...

Thanks Greg.  I actually have a rifle with CC DST triggers, and a while ago I bought a couple of the wide DST tang & trigger assemblies with levers.  I was just wondering if I could swap them.  I guess I'll give it a try.
