If you buy something on EBAY, regardless of seller not accepting returns, EBAY will if item is misrepresented or faulty. You might want to explain your situation with them.
It's not that easy with Ebay anymore. Even crooks have Ebay on their side, and Ebay goes as far as to not post bad reviews when an unhappy customer posts them!
I just last month had a purchase go bad when I got notice of delivery, but nothing was delivered. I waited a couple days to see if it was a mistake, and contacted the seller to tell him I never got my item. He simply responded it was delivered.
It was sent UPS, so called customer service and told them I never got the item and was asked for my address. They told me that wasn't the address on the package, and wouldn't tell me where it was sent to.
I filed a claim with Ebay, and was told I had to wait 10 days. Then after 10 days Ebay denied my claim stating the seller showed proof it was delivered. I appealed and showed them UPS said the seller mislabeled the address. Then Ebay made me wait another 10 days for the seller to dispute my appeal!
Finally after a month I got refunded by Ebay, not the seller, and credited back my money. I posted a bad review about the scam seller, and saw numerous others posted in the last month also! My review never showed up, and a few days later all the other bad reviews disappeared from his feedback also! Seller showed his location as California, but during this process I discovered his real address is Israel!
So Ebay is making it much harder for buyers to be able to get their money back, and easier for scammers to cheat buyers.
