Cottage Craft Works stocks (Read 233 times)

	I contacted Cottage Craft Works about a stock for the Miroku/Winchester low wall I have. They said that they can make a replacement stock for the 1885. According to them it is the same stock as the original 1885. They do ask if the rifle was made in USA or Japan. My question to the group is, has anyone used any of their stocks? Cheers, Steve

	It is not the same stock as the original 1885 the Jap model has a through bolt among other things.

True, that is why they ask where the rifle was manufactured. The Mirkou also has a shorter lower tang than the original due to the trigger configuration.
