Some more prone work with the BSA Martini 12/15

Sometimes you just welcome a change,  as I did last Sunday.  The weather was bad, so I went to the covered shooting range with the trusty BSA for some prone work 'in the spirit of the original '.
Meaning 2-point sling, no hand stop, and original peep sights.
Ammo was red SK rifle match, this rifle just loves SK.  The target is a 100m ISU rifle target reduced for 75m, so the 10 ring is MOA.
Pretty happy considering it's been a while,  and shooting a .22 for a change is fun.

And this is the rifle!  I do plead guilty to stripping the varnish and putting on an oil finish.

That was the standard club furnished rifle the three years I shot small bore prone in Sydney Australia. The English match 50 meters, all shooters used club supplied Eley Black Box. Some very good results posted with the combination too. Nice outfit.
