Vance Haynes Trapdoor Book?

More than 10 years ago I met C. Vance Haynes at a Tucson gunshow where he was selling his Custer book. On his table he had an Officers Model Trapdoor or two and he said he was working on a book focused on the Officers model trapdoor. Last time I spoke to him, probably about 2016 he said he was still working on it. I can't find an obit for him so I am assuming he is still "topside". Anyone know if he got the book published?

No he has not published his book as of yet. Vance is now in his mid nineties I hope he gets it done.
He was at the last Denver show and hope he is there again this year.He does have to get his daughter to drive him.
