Ballard Hammer Spring

Looking for anyone who replaced one with a Steve Earle and noticed a difference with hammer fall.

Keith, I put one Steve's mainsprings in my 22 ballard, the one with the roller tip, and it was a lot smoother and I believe a tad faster.  I think that Schuetzenbob used one as well.
