Front Sight Identification - Steven Rifle

Attached a a few pictures of a front sight base that comes off a (new to me) rough old Stevens 44 1/2 Mod 47. It looks to be a base off a Remingtion windguage front sight, based on the illustration in Strobel "Old Gunsights" page 204 1998 Krause Publication. Further support for this is added by the fact that the riffle is fitted with what appears to be a Remington Mid Range rear Tang sight.
