A very nice looking RB, and 40-65 is a great cartridge!

A beautiful Rolling Block, for sure. Read your other post and you said it has 100% pattern #3 engraving. Sure would like a close-up picture of the action. Dale.

Dave did great work even on actions he did not build. I send him an old worn out looking 7mm carbine and some nice wood blanks and asked for a 50-70 hunting rifle. This is what I got back:

I know, I know, I asked for that rear sight but it just doesn't belong. I'll fix it.
