Getting close to finishing the forend piece, don’t know if it has a name or not. It’s carved out of 8620 a metal that case hardens well. It’s made fairly thick as it will be shaped quite a bit after inletting. All I need to do now is hand file the draft on it for inletting.

These are 100 yard groups from the rifle fired at our bi-monthly local matches.
