My finger tips are raw but the barrel got drawn and polished.  I used Mark Lee's Express Brown with hopes of getting a plum brown finish.
Still not sure how it happened but as I was working on this I got a text from Vall asking me what I was doing!!! somehow my phone texted him a recipe that only the Swedish Chef from the muppets could decipher...  Grin  Sorry Vall, that still confuses me.

Not quite sure but there is a deep dark semi brown-black chocolate appearance in the right light... Roll Eyes Gonna have to do.  A little bit of Nitre blue to a couple of pieces and it's as done as I'll get it.  I'll try some photos in better light - sunlight - possibly a target with the new loads...

Normally, the innovative striker breech block in Damascus steel, the nicely filed barrel or the excellent case colors would get me oohing and awwhing at your work, Gregg. But, this time that wonderful chunk of wood is what catches my eye. Zowieeeeeeee!
