Quality Cartridge has a listing for the casings properly marked. I will call them in a little bit and see about availability. I have seen dies sets on the internet now I need to order....

Tomorrow I will drive to the shop near Karlsruhe and pick-up the rifle.

I was actually looking for an 8,15x46R when I happened on this. I wanted a traditional hunting rifle I could use for Roe deer. The price was stuck on 400 Euro for over two weeks. I got it for 507 Euro!

Of course, not correctly marked but a good source, are 9.3x72R and even British 360 2 1/4 cases. I have a rifle in 6.5x58R Sauer.

Well I have to say I am envious. One hell of a rifle for only 500 EU.  Love the DSTs on a stalking rifle.

Picked up the rifle yesterday and in order to celebrate with a typical mid-morning snack I was at the butcher to get some Weiss Wurst. Looking in his cooler I noticed he had a bier I had not seen before, I typically don't like Alpirsbacher but this one is a Bock (strong) bier so I decided to give it a try.

Great surprise today, friend sent me some photos and asked where I want my 8x48R brass sent to. He trimmed and annealed some 8x58R Sauer to 8x48R Sauer dimensions. Hopefully the dies from CH are here in a day or two.

Five at 100m

195gr bullet (unknown manf.)
23 Gr N140
CCI LR primer
Modified RWS brass (formerly 9,3 x 72R)

Might shoot better but the rifle has an older Hensoldt scope with a non-centered, very heavy Number 1 reticle.... Grin
