A Dilemma

On another forum, someone is looking to buy .25 Stevens reloadable rimfire cases.  I make these from .22 Hornet brass.  It's quite labor intensive requiring triming, anealing, expandind, swaging in custom made die, final sizing in carbide .25 ACP. die., driling/reaming, c'boring for press fit of .22 rimfire blank, milling firing pin clearance slot in rim.  I understand how difficult this would be without a lathe & mill..plus the tooling neded.  I wouldn't mind helping a fellow get started with a few cases...but then I thought....
This little case uses less than 2.0 gr. of med. fast pistol powder...using the smallest, least powerful "acorn" type blank.  There are more potent blanks available...including the powerful ones used to drive nails.  What if someone wanted a .25 magnum..using a more powerful primer and say a case full of Bullseye?
Perhaps our buyer would assume all risks...but what if itwas his little 6 year old grandson who lost an eye and half of his face....would the parents be so understanding?  There's the legal ramifications..do I really want a knock on my door from the BATF?   What are your opinions?

You would be risking EVERYTHING on the hope that no one misuses your cartridge cases, IMO.

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

I also agree with the above replies. Very nice thought on your part, but way too much  possible ramifications if something went wrong which you would have no control over.
