I had one once. Bought it for $35. Traded it for a Nazi marked Browning HiPower. Traded that for a 92 Winchester. Don't remember what happened after that.

This one was acquired in a strange way. I had a friend at a range sell some old junk for me at a gun show. When I went to pick up my money he handed me a rifle case and said I better look at it. For some reason which I don't remember I didn't look  I stuck it behind the seat of my pickup and forgot about it. About a year later I was visiting with my son at a motel in Eastern WA when I suddenly remembered the unseen rifle in the case in my pickup. John went out and retrieved the case. He pulled out the Model 12 but it had a 414 Stevens forestock on it. It was the weirdest looking thing you ever saw and me not familiar with foreign rifles, I thought it was just some weird Martini rifle. My plan was to take it back to Buddy and get my money. Then after studying on it I realized that someone had stuck a 414 forestock on it and that it was a #12 BSA Martini. So I shot it at a match and won with a 218.  I got the present forestock off someone on this forum many years ago. That 414 stock fit perfectly.
No barrel sight on this one and no place for a sling swivel on the barrel. Sling swivel attachment is on the tip of the forestock and at the rear.

Nice shape, and a take-down model too. I have a "custom" M12 TD that someone put a heavy barrel on and bent the lever to accommodate a PG stock. It shoots pretty good.
Speaking of strange fore-ends on inappropriate rifles, I have a 44 1/2 rf that came with a 414 fore-end.  Huh

Very nice looking rifle.  I just bought my first Martini actioned rifle.

Supposedly a 12/15 but I think maybe it is a late production 12 or a mix match of parts.  Has the checkered 12 forend but a checkered style 12/15 buttstock (cheekpiece and pistol grip), lever is a 12/15 type.  Front sight is an AGP marked Model 2 and the rear sight is a Parker Hale 7.  Apparently a club gun as it has a rack number on the buttstock.  Weighs about 10#.  No "P" prefix on the SN.

Haven't shot it yet as it is currently in parts on the bench, hopefully one day soon.
