Need a stock...

I have searched to no avail for a military Peabody rifle stock. Have been told the later model Peabody stocks are different so I either need an original or a duplicate of one. Talked to folks about duplicating the one I have but the cost is prohibitive. Anyone know of a source or a reasonable duplicator?

I did some time ago but he said he hadn't done any in a good long while. To copy what is left of mine is too expensive for him to do it.

Try Pecatonica long rifles. You can build up the missing pieces with bondo, sand it down and they should be able to copy it quite well. Cost me $90 to have a stock shaped for a high wall. My own wood of course.
