There are these.  Never saw one in person.  Made in Indiana.

The Tippmanns are much improved in looks from the first ones - prototypes? - of several years ago.  But while I live in south central Indiana, I have never actually seen one, don't know anyone who has, and in my opinion $899 and $999 are high prices for boringly basic machine-made rifles with a choice of three calibers being their only option (it's the .45-70 that's $100 more).  On the other hand, if paying at least $7,000 for one of their 9 mm Gatling guns seems reasonable, the rifles likely seem reasonably priced, maybe even cheap.

Tipmann Rollers are not only butt ugly, but they are not the same internally in design. If they were half as much I'd still not own one just based on how homely they are.

Rodney Storie, who posts here, might have castings for the No.1 rolling block. One would then have to find a gunsmith to build a rifle from this; I'm sure one is out there.

Yes I do it is the late model sporting frame with your choice of pistol grip or straight grip. I have the butt plates and fore arm tips also.

It would take a DST option for me to buy a Roller.  Nice rifles, just not my cup of tea...

All rollers are pretty ugly. Nicest one I ever had was a higher end one from Lone star. At least it had nice wood and checkering to distract the eye from those clunky actions. Tongue

Rolling blocks had SST that work extremely well, and stay set too. I've got a couple originals with SST that I love shooting as much as any of my DST singles.

I think a Rolling Block Sporting Rifle, (especially a pistol grip version!) are beautiful guns. The actions are one of the simplest, and sturdiest actions ever designed, and the vast number that have seen close 150 years of tough use, and shoot well still is proof of their design.
I've never been a fan of original military rifles of any kind, and same goes for military Rollers. But a nice Sporting Roller is wonderful to my eyes.

Ballards are beautiful, the Big Hammer Sharps is storied, but the early No. 2 Rolling Blocks and the No. 1 sporters and target grade rifles, are very worthy rifles mechanically and aesthetically from any viewpoint.

I had a beautiful single set trigger roller redone by Verl Sigman in 38-50 Remington Hepburn. Just a wonderful rifle another member here owns now. The trigger was perfectly reliable and light.
