Seeing the query about Davenport reminded me of another old time club.  Does anyone here know what's going on with the New Braunfels, TX club?  Last I heard, they still have matches in some way resembling ASSRA style(???)

I'm not sure, but I *think* they're only doing 22 matches. Not at my home computer, where I have a bookmark, and not finding much with a search. Some info on a fakebook page.

We're alive and well!

Attached, find our 2022 schedule.

Our club is also hosting the 3, 2022 Texas Single Shot Rifle Association (TSSRA) Schuetzen matches this year.  Their dates are included at the bottom of our schedule.

If any of you guys are this way, you are welcome to shoot in and of our or the TXSSRA matches or I will take you to the club to show off 172 years of Texas shooting history.

Froggy about 20 years ago worked on a project out of Galveston TX. Brought my CPA along & shot several times with the New Braunfels club. Very nice people, treated me like family. It’s one of many nice places in Texas. 

Carried my Smallbore Silhouette rifle as well & shot East Texas and Louisiana matches. It’s a trip worth taking.
