Lead furnace 2

I would like to have a 10-20 lb lead furnace (not bottom pour) that has replaceable (stainless would be good) pots for the alloy.

Ordinary hot plates don't do well at the temperatures needed.  (don't ask)

It would allow me to have 3-4 pots of different alloys and one furnace and temperature control PID.

Hmmmm.  might be a market ....

If you can find one the pots that Rapine used to sell were stainless steel and were slightly tapered so after it is hard you can just dump them and start over.

This can also be easily done with a Lee 20 lb. Ladle pour pot.
