It is a unique and attractive rifle, when assembled.

Always learning something new. I never knew there was such a gorgeous rolling block. It tickles my fancy something fierce. Thanks for sharing,
Charles

Many years ago I saw a similar rolling block at a gunshow. It was a 6.5 bottle necked rimmed cartridge. Wished I had bought it now.
It had a shorter barrel. I remember thinking the caliber was odd. Looked like the barrel was original to the rifle. It wasn't new that's for sure.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

For the sake of completion (and a good read), here's the post where I got most of the information on thses rifles when I started looking for one a few years ago.

You will all recognise the usual suspects...

I've been trying to buy one of those (at a reasonable price) for a long time.  When one come up for sale and I call and get put on hold waiting for the salesguy I know it's going to be sold before I get to him.     some day maybe.

Nice looking rifle!

There are two of the little beauties for sale on Guns International right now. I purchased one for myself from Kenn Womack some years back. They are beautiful rifles, pretty scarce on the used gun market.

Don't think I've ever bought anything using Guns International, but will check it out.  Thanks for the tip.
