Hi: Looking for the best source for a firing pin for a Stevens 44 Schuetzen. It is the heavy action model. I think I could make one but...Thank you.

Shouldn't be difficult at all to make and I use grade eight bolts when making my own. The properties of a grade 8 bolt as it is will typically far exceed those of other methods and materials being used and no heat treatment is required.

CPA shows this for the Favorite.  Don't know if will work or not.

Thanks for the help.  I have also used high grade aircraft hardware for small parts. I should be all set. Have collets for my lathe. I think the Favorite pin is different.
