What kind of accuracy can you expect by rechambering a 22 LR to a 22 Magnum?

.22 LR has about a .222" groove dia. .22 Mag. has a groove diameter of about .224" to keep people from re-chambering weak actions.
Reamer won't fit and would expect accuracy to be poor if done.

One of the most accurate 22 mag rifles I had was a T/C Contender 22 LR Match barrel rechambered to 22 mag. Work was done by Mike Bellm.

Not sure if the OP might want at sometime be able to use it in competition and if so it might not be allowed per the various match rules.

Last Sunday I picked up a small frame BSA Martini from one of the members here at the Oregon Arms collectors show.  It had been rechambered from to 22 mag.  I took it to the range today is some less that ideal wind conditions and it shot well in my opinion.  The group on the red target had 5 shots in under an inch.  Shot 6 in the group and the two lined out were the result of sight adjustments as I ran out of elevation ability.  The wind threw the two upper left flyers in the second target as I was in a hurry to get home.  The circled group is 1".   The rifle will eventually sport a 6x Unertl small game scope with correct height blocks.  Groups at 50 yds with std 22 mag ammo.
