Hello Guys

I was wondering if its possible to get a collet type die for the 38-55.  Lee doesn't offer one according to their current catalog  and Google didn't make any suggestions either but maybe there's a non mainstream manufacturer out there . . .

Just a thought, I took a Lee Hornet collet die and opened it up to neck size the 25-20 Win. Don't see any reason why that can't be done with a 30-30 die, make a custom size decapping pin while your at it.

Try CH4D. Don't know that they have, but they might. They are very busy, so best to call as they don't respond very well to e-mail.

The CH4D taper crimp 38-55 die works very well.......

  I think Lee will make you one pretty reasonably, at least they used to. I had one made for 32 Special.

Late answer.
I have been investigating a Lee Collet Die for my 38-55. They will make you a die for$160.00!!!. They call it their Large Series. They list one for the 50 BMG and a 416. Angry
