	One of the co-sponsers is Ms. Wasserman Schultz, Chair of the Democratic National Committee. Just glancing through APPENDIX A—FIREARMS EXEMPTED BY THE ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN OF 2015 and under the headings Centerfire Rifles—Lever & Slide, Centerfire Rifles—Single Shot, Rimfire Rifles—Lever & Slide Action, Rimfire Rifles—Bolt Actions & Single Shots, and Competition Rifles—Centerfire & Rimfire... I don't see CPA mentioned, or any original Stevens models listed as exempted. And there are a bunch of other oldies but goodies that also aren't listed as exempted.

	Just be cause an idiot like Debbie Wasserman Schultz writes a bill doesn’t mean that it will go anywhere. This probably won’t see the light of day on the floor, but it is an indication of what Democrats want to do. That is why we need to stop fooling around and get rid of lefties in government wherever we find them. Nits grow into lice so defeat at the ballot box any leftwing nut job no matter what office they are running for. That socialist nut job running for the school board so she can install transgender bathrooms in all the kindergarten classrooms is on the first rung to being the next Debbie Wasserman Schultz. 	While I have voted strongly Republican over the years, I now consider them the lesser of two evils. What the country really needs at this point is a strong Independent/Libertarian third party to shake up and remove the old career deadwood in Congress and the Statehouses, and bring the country back to some semblance of common sense.

Exempt ... they didn't miss many but guess my Wurffleins - Stevens - Floberts - Martini Henry - Ithaca 37's - and several others are included as Assault Weapons! Wonder what was their source for the listed firearms because they didn't miss many: old and new. But not one air rifle was mentioned under single shots

	Old time party deadwood is being pushed out of the decision making process. Special interest money has been turned down. History shows what happens with a strong third party candidate. And....it's not even a start?

Here is another Independent voter that votes for whoever I perceive is least bad choice. Sometimes that is easy, sometimes not, most often I "hold nose" and vote. 	Apparently "they" don't know about Carl Steigelie line of upscale German hunting guns. Might have to keep my O/U 16X67 over barrel and 7X57R under barrel home and hidden. It is my most productive grouse gun ever. Rifle barrel has been deadly too. One lonesom Stevens 47 on 44 receiver might cause problem, especially if I mount Leupold 20X "sniper" scope on it. Grisen

[/quote] Obama is way behind recent presidents in # of Executive Orders issued. He needs to "get cracking" least he look like an indecisive wimp. That Executive Order concerning guns appears to be regarding broader application of Background Checks for Purchase of Guns. Grisen
