Hello, I am searching for some help and information regarding a tin of Berdan Primers.
I cannot find any information online as to the year, use, manufacturer, value, history, etc. I am hoping possibly- someone may know something or help lead me into the proper direction.
The tin is 1.5" in diameter & about 1" high & an orange metallic color.

It reads on the cap(top) of the tin:
250
No. 1
BERDAN
PRIMERS.

I am attaching a photo- thanks for your help- greatly appreciated! I am stumped!

If they are old meaning a very old manufacturing date somewhere on the Tin. Their value is nothing. Old enough could mean Corrosive Priming or not reliable Ignition. For some Collectors though the Tin itself may have some value for the assembly of a Collector display. For the purposes of sale here I would post them down on the For Sale area at some price with the notation negotiable or for trade. That covers the Rule of stuff for sale should have a price posted. HTH Regards, FITZ. Smiley
