Single Trigger CPA

Has anyone converted a CPA, or an original 44 1/2, to a single trigger?  I'm thinking ahead a year or so, and many $$$$ ahead as well, about another project.  I'm thinking that a CPA with a not too heavy barrel would make a fun 22 rf hunting rifle but I don't want to use set triggers, especially in cool weather, and they aren't worth a hoot getting off a quick shot at a running bunny.  The front trigger pull on the CPA, while it could be adjusted, is pretty horrendous probably for safety reasons since it is a target rifle.  It doesn't allow enough room for a fat gloved finger anyway.  Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Well, I've gone the other way on an original 44 1/2, and could convert back at any time.  Needs the lower tang, trigger, and trigger spring.  I also have the original hammer without the fly, and would put that back, as I have honed that trigger/hammer pair to my liking.
