Good looking job. The word "polisher" scares me. Easy to mess it up, but you certainly seem to know what you are doing.

Someone I'd trust to polish and blue with no fear is Mel Doyle. His shop number: 208-686-1006

Buffing is a more concerning word, polishing does leave a lot to the imagination and can also be of some concern.

Nice checkering, maybe some inlays here and there. A naked babe carved in the side of the butt stock.  Love the caliber.  Yes, it's getting there.

Still some major work to bend the lever to fit.  I'd suggest doing that and inletting it into the front of the pistol grip.  Makes a really nice looking job.

Built one similar to yours in 25-20 WCF with a GM barrel. Shot real good but sold it later(wish I had it back)to a friend. Let us see it when it's done.

Looking very nice so far. Now for a question, where did you get the stock?

I made the stock from a blank. I like the levers with the reverse radius i them. It fells like a Schultzen lever if you hold it on the outside or the lever. I have had some both ways and really like it this way. Here is a another  one in .218 Bee.

This one is interesting and should draw comments. Orginal 1885 Winchester rebarreled for 375 H&H. Handmade quarter rib cut for Talley rings.  Stock made from a blank
