Sticking 25/21 cases

I have a 25/21 Stevens 44 1/2, it was originally a .22 cal. but I got another barrel in 25/21and breach block so I can change it back a forth. The 25/21 cases don't seem to wanted to extract after they are shot. Is this a common problem with this caliber?  Any help would be greatly appreciated. norb68

Mark one case with a felt pen, fire it. reload and fire 2 more times. If you see a shiny ring develope, the chamber has a buldge in it.

If it just has straight lines that develope, then it just has a straight chamber w/o any taper. In that case, you can polish the rear half of the chamber and it will extract better.

Ok Frank thanks I will give that a try. I think it might just be a straight chamber but we will see. norb68
