GM Leveraction Barrels

I see that Green Mountain offers a lever action octagon barrel in 32-20 with a 1-22 twist. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these barrels and how well they shoot.  I was thinking that if they shoot well that it would make a nice barrel to put on a Cadet action and chamber it in 32-20.
TIA

Have not gotten one.  Checked into it about a year and a half ago but to get it across the boarder all the extra BS almost doubled the cost of the barrel.
Made me sad to tell the importer to not do it.

GM on my .22 Low Wall is one of their pre contoured unthreaded stub Winchester barrels. Same as the Lever Barrels.

It's a great shooter

Nuclear,

I have installed several in 32-20 and 25-20. Great shooters from all indications. I have used Green Mountain barrel in calibers from 22 to 50 and had excellent results from each one.

Thank you, that was pretty much the answer I was hoping for. I felt that the barrels would be good but wanted to see if anyone could confirm. I currently have one GM barrel to be put on a roller, it will be a 44-77, but it will be a while before that project will be finished.

I see on Green Mountain's website that it is not in stock. I spoke with Dennis at GM last year and he told me that the .32 caliber barrels had been discontinued. You may find one at Track of the Wolf or some other stocking dealer.
