barrel liner install ?

What is the best method for installing a barrel liner? I have heard of people using solder, epoxy, Acraglas, and loctite. Not sure which loctite would work best but it seems to me that it would be easy to work with if you had the proper grade.
Any suggestions or advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I use 262. I don't think it matters much which loctite as long as you have a close fit. The piloted drills Brownells sells will cut a bit oversize so I make my own and then ream for the final fit trying for .002" clearance. If you have a lot of clearance then acraglas or epoxy on 22LR. Solder will work if you can heat the whole barrel evenly and tin both the liner and barrel.

I plan to use a TJ liner for a 40-65. Does this change the preferred method for retaining the liner?

Would seriously consider John's technique for a close fit in the larger calibers. Any of the red Loctite products would work fine when you consider the area of contact between the barrel and liner.

Thanks guys,
I talked to John via pm in regards to the larger calibers. I think the method he uses by drilling than reaming is probably the ideal way to obtain the best fit.
Thanks again for the input, it is much appreciated.
