Until three weeks ago I had no idea there was such an animal. Now I am the pround keeper of this animal that needs a full restoration. But all of the right sort of bits and pieces are there. This is the large frame version and is quite rare. Number 11 of the ones verified. Until I found this, it was thought there were only 10 still exsisting. According to the recent 3 volume set of books edited by Tom Rowe It's guessed that fewer than 30 were made. Pictures will eventually follow.
I even have a period wooden case that I had bought in Vegas on a whim. Its the perfect size fo this creature. This will be a long term project employing the help of a few friends. This is not a planned event. I just cannot help myself! I know most of the readers of this sight never have problems like this. Its not the first, 3 years ago I could not spell Schuetzen now I have 15. All this from a guy that spent most of the first 7 decades of his life messing with shotguns and stockblanks. And a few old cars thrown in, and  some antique clocks.
Regards to all John Mc   Embarrassed

Way to go, John!

Is it listed in Flaydermans book?

Oh, I have got to see the pictures when you post them.  I'd never even heard of such a rifle.

I didn't realize they were that rare.
