Any market for vintage benchrest rifles?

Well, it's starting to be that time of my life when I need to think about gitting rid of a few things that I have never used and can't for the life of me figure out why I bought in the first place.  And vintage benchrest rifles definitely fall into that elite group.  Anybody know if there is any perverse interest in these single minded rifles anywhere out there?  Some of the ones I have are single shots (Stevens and Reidls and High Walls) and some are bolt actions (Remington 30 and Mauser and Kimber).  And I don't think that I have ever shot one of them with the exception of the Kimber.

Anyway, if somebody could point me in the direction of some good useful information on the subject, and maybe on the value of these things, I would certainly appreciate it.

Bob White at Shooters Corner has probably the largest inventory of old ones.

You might check with Wyoming Armory. I was in there last week and they had half-a-dozen, or more, old benchrest rifles of various sorts. Some with false-muzzle barrels.

The High Walls will always be valuable, regardless of configuration. Especially if they letter from the factory records. PM me with their serial numbers and I'll see what the Cody museum has on them for info.

Bench Rest Central is a good place to go for the bolt guns.

list the single shots on our trading blanket,  or consider bringing them up to Etna Green for our shoot this weekend. this coming saturday would be a good day.  we do a whole lot of buying selling trading.  Id be real surprised if some of them didn't find a home and its save all the shipping and FFL hassle
