Call their customer service. Can likely point you to a stocking distrubutor/retailer.

Whitey,

Is it absolutely necessary that you have a die, It's not difficult to cut a thread on a lathe unless the part your threading is so short you cannot get a descent grip on it. All you need is the correct gear wheel changes on your lathe.

Whitey, What's this for?? Sounds like you might be looking for a British BA screw.  I went through this with my Westley Richards and came up with about a 9-36. Harry clued me in to a BA#2.  I've got screws if you need some.  Bob

You might want to give Cedar Creek Screw and Machine; PO box 1531; Woodland, WA 98674. Tel. 360-225-6448 7 to 10 PM Monday through Friday. Email is kenmoss at pacifer dot com.

They might be willing to make the screws for you and they cater to our sport and our needs.

If you have a tap, making a die is not that difficult. Use drill rod for material. Drill the three relief holes and plug them with round stock. Then drill & tap the die. Knock out the plugs and heat treat the die.

Whitey try Morrison Miniature Machines, they list the 2 BA size taps and die on the Hand Tools page, they also have over size special taps & dies listed. It looks to me that the 2 BA thread is about 32tpi not the 36tpi you need.

British Association threads are true bas**rds, not inch or metric and 47.5* thread angle.
