.22 Martini Extractor

Ok. I've fit the nice Anschutz bbl up to the nice Martini .22 action. Now comes the next question for those who have done this thing before. Advice on fitting up the extractor? I've reamed and headspaced the bbl.
Do I scribe lines and do the aircraft style (file to fit, paint to match)? Or is there some slick way I can't see?
Can put the barreled action at the proper angle in the mill and do a roughing cut, then file is all I can see...
Thanks in advance for the sage advice, your advice about threading the barrel was spot on.

I had one come in that was to loose and the brass is bulging. Now I get to go through the same thing you are doing after it was welded up. I already took the measurements and made sure it was in the center. From this point I will be using the end mill. Will make a test cut not as deep as needed, assemble and measure again.

I think I see. will you put the barrel in the vise at the angle required by the extractor? Leaves a slight undercut at the "top" of the extractor?

The side facing the breach block will be level in the mill, back side is slanted. Once the cut is deep enough for the cartridge to enter the chamber the the rim cut will be added. Rim cut should be .043" deep.
