Mounting an Unertl scope on a High Wall?

     Hi again:

I have a Unertl 15X UV that has been sitting in closet for many years and I am wondering if I drill and tap my "new" High Wall for scope blocks if this will detract from the resale value.

I am at the age where iron sights are a problem.

     Any thoughts?

If it's a new rifle, scope blocks will increase the value.

I had steve earl make me up a cantilever type mount for my browning 22-250 hi-wall,, it mounts in the factory holes on the receiver and extends out over the barrel,  ive never had a problem with it yet,  but alot of groundhogs have ,   give steve a call,   he was cheaper then it would have cost to have the barrel drilled and tapped
