Can anyone tell me about these?  Where were they made? By whom?  When?

If you are thinking about buying one of these to shoot-don't.

The barrels are mandrel wound welded.  The bores are inconsistent and under sized.

Many problems with inclusion in the breach blocks, broken subframes, and heavy peening of the junction between tip of subframe and action body, possible in an attempt to correct  excess or growing head space.

I you you are looking for an interesting sub-catagory of hinged block martini for your collection these will clean up well enough and make a nice addition.

Get a copy of John Walter's Guns of the Gurkha's to learn more.
