Sturm, Ruger, & Co??

The extractor is the same in the #3 as in the (currently made) #1, isn't it?

Yes, the extractor is the same as the #1.
I need one for a .32-40 which is a rimmed case.
I have heard stories and rumors that Ruger will not send one for a rifle other than what is was chambered for, because they will ask what the serial #  is.  Maybe this isn't so??
Please reply if anyone has had that experience.

Ruger factory ejectors (their term) are still listed on Brownells web site...here's the link to the schematic and parts list.  The number in red by the part means they carry it.    (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
